This coming Sunday at 11 am, tens of thousands will gather in Washington DC for a mass mobilization organized by Reform Immigration FOR America to call on Congress and the President to fulfill their promise to pass immigration reform. You can join the rally and AAPI organizations and immigrant justice activists from around the country for this historic march. Listed below are some activities and resources being offered by one of these groups, the DC chapter of the National APA Women’s Forum. You can also look for other folks that will be organizing meet-ups around the rally here.
NAPAWF DC is taking the lead in organizing a number of events leading up to and on the day of. If you’re going to the march, here’s how you can hook up with your DC sisters. If you are interested in rallying but need transportation, give us a call. There are many colleague organizations sponsoring buses.
3/18 Poster-making party

12PM – AAPI Pre-rally: AAPI activists are encouraged to meet at 12PM on March 21 at Franklin Park (on K St. and 13th St., NW) near McPherson Square metro for a short program and march together to the National Mall for the main rally.
2PM – March for America rally: The March for America rally will be on the National Mall (stage will be on 7th Street). An interfaith service will begin at 1PM, with the rally to follow from 2-5PM.
Attire and food
In preparation for March 21, organizers are advising participants to please:
1. Wear a white shirt
2. Bring American flags
3. Carry posters or banners (We will have some for you)
4. Bring snacks and beverages, as they will not be provided throughout the event
5. Be prepared for the weather (warm outerwear, umbrella, etc.)
