Model Minority: Jessica Gomes

Jessica Gomes is the first Asian model BcB is supporting in our new ongoing series: Model Minorities. Although I don’t believe in the Model Minority myth like any good Asian shouldn’t, I sure think there’s hella hot Asian models out there I wanna google support.
Ms. Gomes is an Aussie Asian from Perth (oy! I’m an Aussie, yea?). Her moms is Chinese from Singapore and her pops is Portuguese. Those countries sure go together like chicken and rice and caning!
You may have seen her in the last few SI swimsuit issues. I may have seen her in my dreams. Now I can’t wait to see which male model cbruhs picks for the next installment of MM! mmmhhh-hmmmm!

I hope you guys support more “full-blooded” asian models, cos thats where the support is needed. I’m from Perth and eurasians here are probably like eurasians in the US. They are considered white and prefer the company of whites. Oh wait, I meant that they are considered “Australian” and prefer the company of “Australians”. whatever.

We definitely need to see more Asian models. Glad you’re doing this series! It really does help empower our youth to see more Asians in the spotlight (or in the sun).
